Printing from a Personal Device

This process is designed for devices that have a local storage system (computers, laptops, Windows tablets, Windows mobiles, Android mobiles, etc) – it is not designed for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, etc).

Please note: The following process works best using Internet Explorer (for PC) and Safari (for Mac).

This will be available from Staff Portal at a later date. Meanwhile please continue to use Staff OASIS for this service.

1. Go to Staff OASIS and log in with your Staff credentials

Username: <OASIS Username>
Password: <OASIS Password>

Enter your credentials and click Login

2. Click on the Print Online button under the important links:

3. Select Your Account, then click Next.

If you have more than one option, we recommend that you select the Cost Centre option:

4. Upload your file

  • Locate a “PDF, Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Image file” and click on Choose file/Browse.
  • Click on Upload. (Please be patient while the file is uploaded, (possibly converted) and processed.)

Note: If the filename is too long, it may fail or load the previous file (if applicable). Reduce the length of the filename and re-try.

5. Choose your printing preferences, then click Next

Depending on where you release the file to print to, may affect whether you can print to Colour, A3, etc.

Click “Start Over” to view file (Step 5.)
Click “Back” to view file (Step 5.)

6. Check your options, then click Print

Click “Print” to finish (Step 8.)
Click “Back” to choose options (Step 6.)
Click “Start Over” to view file (Step 5.)

7. You have now finalised the print job.

Following this, you have two hours to release it for printing. If you do not release it for printing within two hours, the job will no longer be available.

The file has now been sent to MPS. You now need to go to an MPS MFD (Multi Function Device), and release the printout with your Staff/Student Card.

Click “Submit Another Job” to print more (Step 2.)

Click “Logout” if you are finished (Step 1.)
