The AV presentation systems are designed to be operationally intuitive. However if you need assistance please contact the CITS Service Desk who may be able to guide you or otherwise arrange on-site support. If you see something out of order in a lecture theatre or classroom, please submit a fault report
AV Equipment Access codes
The CITS Audio Visual team is passionate about providing the support and encouragement needed for staff to utilise and embrace audio visual resources.
Due to outstanding success at the beginning of semester, Venue Support staff will be available during all teaching weeks of Semester 2 as a trial. This initiative is aimed at new and sessional academics, or staff members teaching in new or unfamiliar venues. The Venue Support staff are available to provide assistance in Lecture Theatres, Collaborative Teaching Spaces and Tutorial Rooms.
If you are new to Curtin, want a refresher, are going to be teaching in a new venue or require general support, please contact the CITS Service Desk to register for personal assistance from a Venue Support Officer before your class.
CITS has AV equipment available for loan to Curtin staff members such as Laptops, Projectors, Tripod screens, etc. Staff can pick up their equipment from the CITS Service Desk in Building 200B. Please bring your Staff ID card along with the booking confirmation e-mail. All bookings will be subject to equipment availability. These will be quoted upon your booking submission.

If you would like a student to collect the equipment on your behalf please fill out and sign the authorisation form [PDF- 64KB]. The student will need to bring this form with the booking confirmation e-mail when collecting the equipment.
Staff Please Note: Individuals or departments will be liable for any damage or loss to equipment.
CITS provides technical AV support for Curtin events, both on and off campus.
All bookings are subject to staff availability. Please note that after hours support is not guaranteed and you are encouraged to apply early. There will be equipment and support costs involved. These will be quoted upon your booking submission.
Normal processing time for bookings is 48 hours. Please call CITS on extension 9000 if the booking/confirmation is needed more urgently.
