Guest Account

Curtin has guest accounts for visitors who are here for less than two weeks. These temporary accounts allow a visitor to log in to a Curtin workstation and access the Internet. There is no email facility attached to the account, but you may access a third party web-based email provider.

If you are a new staff member and your account is not ready yet, please see your line manager or area to see whether you are current on Curtin’s HR system, Alesco.

If you need a guest account, your line manager or area can request one via the CITS Service Desk.

Account and Password

Once your details are recorded in Alesco, an OASIS account is automatically created for you.

Network account

When you become current on Curtin's HR system, a network account will automatically be created for you. Depending on your role, an email account will be created for you too.

When you have an OASIS account, you can then go to OASIS to “Activate your account”. This will start the short process, after which you will have an OASIS password. Your OASIS password is your password for many Curtin systems.

If you are unsure as to whether you are recorded in Alesco, or unsure as to whether you have an account, contact your line manager to confirm.
