The CITS Knowledgebase has a new home

Why?

CITS want our knowledge to be in the hands of as many people at Curtin as possible. We want to ensure self-help material, such as wireless and email setup guides are as current and useful as possible.

What?

A project is underway to update and move all the knowledge within the CITS website to its new home on the Self-Service Portal. The move means that you can visit one website for all your IT self-help and self-service needs. If for some reason you can’t find the knowledge you are looking for, simply lodge a support request from the Self-Service Portal.

The project to update and move our content is ongoing; however, we have lots of great content available on the Self-Service Portal, with more added every day.

Why not jump on the portal and have a look around.

How?

Here’s how you do it:

Self Service Login
  • Use the search box in the top right corner to find ‘how to’ guides and articles that provide solutions to some of the more common IT issues.
Search
  • Click on the article that is relevant to you
  • Help us improve our knowledgebase by providing feedback.

Browse related knowledge

Once you open a knowledge article in the portal, a window on the right side of your screen appears and offers knowledge articles that are related.

If you find an article you want to view simply:

  • Select the item by clicking on the radio button next to the title
  • Click the little blue arrow above the window to load the article
